Vegan Burger Kitchen, a new delivery service, has launched in Mumbai. It started delivering to Bandra West, Khar West, and Santacruz West on September 6.
The all-vegan burger delivery service has nine options, including a barbecue pulled-jackfruit burger, a cauliflower and red lentil burger, and an Asian-style sweet potato and peanut burger. The restaurant’s ingredients are all locally sourced, and its produce is organic.
Not only does the company offer several unique burger varieties; it also makes vegan burger condiments, including Sriracha mayo, garlic mayo, and Thousand Island dressing.
And if you’re looking for more, Vegan Burger Kitchen sells chocolate brownies, bounty pudding, and drinks, such as iced coffee and tea.
In an interview with Vegan First, founder and owner Hira Mulchandani said:
Well, mostly in India you only get Aloo patty, paneer burgers or vegetable patties. I always had access to so many wonderful ingredients which were never utilized properly and want to do something innovative with them. That's why we have so many varieties with us, from pulled jackfruit to cauliflower and lentil burgers. Even our different types of mayonnaise are hand crafted.
Mulchandani plans to expand the menu and experiment with other recipes, including by using vegan cheese.
